4th Annual Berlin Short Film Festival (BSFF), a six day showcase set at the Babylon Cinema in downtown Berlin – a city that boast both old world beauty and modern sophistication. The festival is open to any film in any genre under 50 minutes in length, and prioritizes low-budget films of independent spirit and exciting new talent.
The Festival attracts a broad selection of work by filmmakers working in every genre and format. BSFF offers Berliners and visitors an extraordinary chance to take a glimpse at the future of cinema. The 2017 Berlin Short Film Festival will show over 100 short films as it aims to offer a unique platform for new talent and a celebration of cinematic creativity and innovation.
BSFF takes place at the heart of the vibrant artist community; Berlin is the perfect haven for nonstop screenings and networking events that keep provocative conversation flowing and foster dynamic collaborations. The Festival also benefits from the vibrant and cutting edge Berlin filmmaking community and the cinema’s proximity to the media hub of the metropolis. Selected filmmakers will receive festival passes to attend the festival, and the opportunity to participate in a directors’ Q&A after their screening.
