NFDC Film Bazaar Co-Production Market 2017

The 11th edition of NFDC Film Bazaar Co-Production Market invites applications of feature film projects with South Asian themes. Projects selected for the market will have the opportunity to forge international co-productions, find financial and artistic support, and network with Indian and international film professionals.

The market will be held between 20 and 24th November at Film Bazaar, Goa. Since 2007, the NFDC Co-Production market has had 10 rewarding years. The Market has become the most sought after platform for South Asian Filmmakers to find funding, collaborations and support. The market also features as a focal point for top festival directors, programmers and sales agents to find fresh voices from South Asia. Over 28 films presented at the previous edition have gone on to get National and Inter-national acclaim. Some of the notable films include Miss Lovely, Court, Chauranga, Newton, That Girl in Yellow Boots, Chauthi Koot, Qissa, Titli, and many more.
Directors can present Video pitches which allow then to show a glimpse of their proposed film to potential collaborators. These pitches can be shown over 4 days of the market to optimize their time.


Project can be from any country dealing with a South Asian theme.
Project must be a new feature-length fiction film (min 70 minutes).
Project must have both director and producer attached.
Project must have 25 per cent of the finance in place
Projects that have started principal photography are not eligible.

The application process is completely online. Email/hardcopy applications will not be accepted.

The applicant must either be the producer or the director of the project. Applications made by any other persons will be disqualified.

Once you have created your account, you will be directed to the Co-Production Market online application form.
Applications will be considered complete only after payment of fee.


Selected filmmakers present Video Pitches of their projects at Open Pitch. To ensure that participants’ Video Pitches are technically sound, the CPM Team requires them at least 2 weeks before Film Bazaar.

Selected participants will be provided creative and technical support to create refined Video Pitches.


INR 5000 for applications submitted on or before the Early Bird Deadline, 5th July 2017 (11:59 PM IST).

INR 7000 for applications submitted between 6th July and the Regular Deadline 7th August 2017 (11:59 PM IST).

INR 10,000 for applications submitted between 8th August and the Extended Deadline 21st August 2017 (11:59 PM IST).
