CALL FOR ENTRIES

Phoenix Film Festival | Official Call for Entries!

18th Annual Phoenix Film Festival (PFF). The Festival prides itself on being filmmaker friendly and providing filmmakers captive audiences eager to discover their work. At PFF, the vast majority of films will have three screenings over the eleven day event giving filmmakers a great opportunity to have their work discovered. With 25,000 attendees, filmmakers can expect a crowded theater.

One of the most unique features of the Phoenix Film Festival is that it all happens at one location. The Festival takes over seven screens at the state of the art luxurious Harkins Scottsdale 101 which was recently remodeled. Just outside the theater doors is the festival’s Party Pavilion where parties, workshops and other special events are held. The close proximity to daily events, local restaurants, and the filmmaker host hotel helps create a buzz around the Festival where attendees build a community of friends that will last a lifetime.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE
PFF supports and develops the artistic appreciation, educational opportunities, and growth of independent film within and outside of Arizona. The Foundation’s primary functions through its programs are to promote the exhibition of independent films and to conduct educational programs that teach the art of independent filmmaking.

MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
PFF is strongly committed to programming quality over quantity. This was evident in the film festival documentary Official Rejection from director, Paul Osborne which made its World Premiere at PFF. Paul is part of a group of filmmakers including Zak Forsman (Down and Dangerous), Scott Storm (We Run Sh*t), and Jill D’Agnenica (Life Inside Out) who make the Phoenix Film Festival pilgrimage whether they have a film in the festival or not. The loyalty of the PFF alumni community speaks volumes about the love that filmmakers have for the festival.

Films of various genres and unproduced short screenplays are now being accepted for consideration. Qualify your project today!
