4th Annual Toronto Short Film Festival (TSFF), offering a showcase in one of the most influential places in North America for filmmakers to screen and be seen. Screenings and networking events in Toronto, one of the world’s greatest film cities, make for an amazing festival full of talent, enthusiasm, and dozens of fabulous films.
TSFF accepts short films across eight submission categories including documentary, experimental, horror, sci-fi, animated, and music video. Dedicated to showcasing short form cinema from around the world the festival celebrates what is possible from unobstructed artistry. A week of screenings and networking events are hosted by TSFF at the Carlton Cinema in downtown Toronto. The festival provides ample opportunities for short filmmakers to showcase their achievements, learn from fellow filmmakers, and build contacts for future collaborations.
Toronto Short Film Festival benefits from the vibrant Toronto filmmaking community that is encouraged to participate and meet fellow filmmakers during the multitude of events offered throughout the festival. Accepted filmmakers receive complimentary festival passes to enjoy an all access look at filmmaking trends and opportunities to meet and collaborate other filmmakers and producers.

Filmmakers with the gift of precision and concise storytelling are invited to compete in the all genre Short Short category with a film that is under five minutes. An all genre short category accepting submissions up to 50 minutes is also available to stories that need a bit more time.
