IFFADAT is one of the members of a consortium festivals group The Festival aims is to help to promote the goals of the United Nations in celebrating international days of peace, women, environment, culture, anti-discrimination, tolerance, youth, family, humanitarian, human rights, health, autism, disability, etc. The festival was established to support and promote filmmakers all over the world, raise local and international awareness towards issues relating to family, and drug abuse and trafficking, and to fight against illicit drugs.
International Film Festival for Family, Against Drug Abuse & Trafficking opens submissions from all over the world. We are seeking for original quality films with excellent storytelling and production technique, have a strong and inspiring story, and produced with passion and noble aims for humanity. The festival accepts short and features films and documentary with a general theme, but especially about family, or against-drug-abuse and trafficking issues.
The Festival values every aspect of a film and will acknowledge them through the packages (directing, story, acting, cinematography, sound, hair & makeup, music, production design, etc.). The Festival will give separate awards for each selected aspect. International films and documentaries with various spoken language with English subtitles or dubbed in English are very welcomed.
The festival’s group has strong connections with the largest Indonesian cinema network, several private foundations, international culture centers, and prominent members of society. The group yearly awards ceremony have been attended by kings, sultans, queen, ministers, senators, parliament members, notable guests, artists, and leading newspapers.
The Festival will hold their festival to celebrate International Day of Families (15 May), Global Day of Parents (1 June), UN Public Service Day (23 June), and International Day against Drug Abuse & Trafficking (26 June). The festival will be featuring premiere screenings, filmmaking workshops, with special guest appearances by filmmakers, mass media, and celebrities in hope to give motivational, informative, and outstanding films to be their showcase.
